The Fikes Companies are looking for a skilled Fuel Replenishment Specialist to join the Fuel Supply department in Temple, TX. The Fuel Replenishment Specialist monitors fuel levels at all sites, generates fuel orders based upon defined criteria, and works with carrier partners to deliver the fuel. This position fulfills a critical step in the inventory life cycle by ensuring fuel is delivered to sites on times and at best cost.
General Responsibilities:
• Reviews fuel inventories for 250+ sites per shift.
• Assesses sales volumes and fluctuation in business needs and responds accordingly.
• Calculates inventory needs and delivery times.
• Selects pull points deliveries lowest laid-in cost.
• Troubleshoots any issues and provides recommendations and solutions.
• Works with carriers to deliver the orders as built: correct product, correct gallons, and on time.
• Manages terminal fuel allocation.

* 2+ years' experience in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
* Must be able to multi-task and prioritize.
* Must have working knowledge of logistics.
* Be able to perform detailed work in an efficient and well-organized manner.
* Must have the ability to stay calm and level-headed in order to think through issues as they arise.
* Possess intermediate skills in MS Office.
This position will be required to be on-call and work weekends.
