Primary Responsibilities
Provides courteous service to guests.  Greets (both arriving and departing) and seats all guests in a friendly manner and assists in maintaining the overall guest flow of the restaurant.  Helps to ensure that guest experience and environment is positive.

Requirements

Specific Functions and Duties
1.	Open door for guests arriving and departing.
2.	Walk guests to their table while engaging them in conversation.
3.	Highlight menu items or specials for the guest after seating them.
4.	Accommodate any special needs of guests, i.e., boosters, highchairs, etc.
5.	Manage the Wait List when the restaurant is full.
6.	Provide guest assistance to servers as needed.
7.	Maintain a clean and organized guest greeting area.
8.	Fill out the Specials Board for guest review.
9.	Complete a nominal amount of guest readiness duties such as tidying host and foyer area and maintaining overall dining room and foyer presentation.  If any of the guest readiness duties your job entails takes up more than 15% of your shift, you must inform a manager immediately.

Physical Requirements
Must be able to:
1.	Stand and exert a well-paced mobility for periods approximately four (4) hours in length.  
2.	Transport and carries objects (such as high-chair) up to 15 pounds approximately 15 times a shift.
3.	Perform repetitive movements, wipe down table tops and legs, pick up debris off the floor, and wipe down booth seats in restaurant.
