We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Shift Leader.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Job Title: Shift Leader

Department: Management: Entry Level

Reports to:  General Manager

Supervises:  Hourly Team Members

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt 

General Purpose of the Position:  Responsible for delivering the CiCi’s guest promise through driving great restaurant operations.  Assist the GM and AM in sales growth, profitability of the restaurant and team development.  

Measured by:  OSAT and SMG Data, Service Check results, Operational Evaluations and Director of Corporate Operations reviews, sales and profit growth, and people development successes.   

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

People Development

  • Assist in leading, motivating and supporting hourly team members to execute The CiCi’s Guest Promise. 
  • Manage OSAT scores by resolving guest issues quickly and sensitively to ensure our guest have a positive experience.

Sales/Profit Growth

  •  Maintain 100% buffet and proper execution of success systems.
  •  Ensure adherence to all CiCi’s Standards, including guest service, product quality, and restaurant cleanliness. 

Skills and Abilities Required:

  •  Positive attitude, enthusiasm, motivator, confidence
  •  Customer service focused and oriented
  •  Strong communication skills with the ability to resolve conflict
  •  Outgoing personality able to develop relationships and leading others
  •  Demonstrates the highest professionalism
  •  Bi-lingual skills a plus

Computer Equipment and Software Requirements

Microsoft Word, Excel

Education and Experience Required:

  •  High School diploma or equivalent
  •  Must be certified in all positions
  •  Must be employed with CiCi’s for a minimum of 6 months
  •  Must be at least 18 years of age 

Other Requirements

  •  Valid state issued driver’s license
  •  Able to work a minimum of 25 hours per week; able to work flexible hours necessary to manage and operate the restaurant effectively.
  •  Continual standing, walking and lifting throughout shift
