Internship Eligibility:

  • Must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within the past six (6) months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Must provide full work availability
  • Must provide own transportation to/from work

You have…

  • Graphic Design experience
  • Strong illustration background
  • Photography experience
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, with a focus on Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
  • In depth knowledge in logo design, layout, presentation design, color, illustration, and typography
  • The ability to translate abstract concepts into engaging graphics that capture audience's imaginations and communicate data effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
  • Capability of accepting input and adapting initial concepts to suit customer's specific requests
  • Extensive knowledge of the Disney Brand, Parks and Resorts
  • A valid U.S. driver's license
  • Must be comfortable driving various sizes of vehicles in the fleet
  • Interns will need to operate a company vehicle under inclement weather, including minimal lighting
  • Ability to work in an outdoor environment for all seasons

Responsibilities

This individual will fulfill a diverse array of graphic design projects for the Consumer Insight Team that encompasses Disney Destinations: Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Line, Disneyland Resort, Aulani and Adventures by Disney.

A day in the life…

  • Translate concept to action-Execute graphic design projects including, but not limited to: PowerPoint templates, infographics, videos, newsletters, one pagers, photo editing, booklets, fliers, brochures.
  • Act as a consultative thought partner- Participate in team brainstorming, input meetings and creative reviews. Manage project timelines in accordance to established deadlines and processes.
  • Be a part of the solution-This individual may have some direct hands-on responsibility for developing media, workbooks, and other facilitator and participant materials for paid client engagements.
  • Impact compelling change and improvement- Maintain and improve existing communication vehicles and multimedia library
