Overview:The Manager of Video Operations ensures that all tasks in the beginning and final stages of a project’s production are finished on time and within budget with the assistance of the appropriate partners. Works closely with a variety of internal colleagues and must also manage outside resources (directors, editors, etc.) as needed. Must have a working knowledge of current video technology as well as the process of video production from initial concept to finished product.

Responsibilities • Manage all incoming video project briefs from development, pre-production and post-production (including editorial, graphics, voiceover, music). Manage editorial flow and budgets across post- roduction process, ensuring budgets and deadlines are met.

  • Oversees the global distribution of all in-store video and outdoor video ad placements.
  • Coordinate staff, freelancers, third party companies and job schedules.
  • Help build creative resources by meeting with DPs, Editors, Colorist and Sound engineers to serve as a strong creative resource for Ralph Lauren Advertising
  • Remains current on video technology and applications and brings “state of the art” innovations to RL.

Qualifications • College degree

  • 1-3 years experience in video production (television, commercial, or production company background)
  • Strategic orientation; able to consider big picture and longer term objectives
  • Attention to detail and solid follow-through
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of current video technology and applications
  • Solid negotiating skills
  • Project management abilities
  • Collaborative nature; works well with different personalities and professional styles
  • Positive, solution-oriented approach
