Description
The Risk Analysts role is to coordinate and execute all activities related to certificates of insurance, renewal data collection and preparation, and assist with first party claims. The Analyst will also support the insurance renewal, hotel openings, closings, and changes processes. The Analyst will be responsible for coordinatin activities with various external service providers that support Risk Management operations. The individual will work independently under direction from the Director of Risk Management.
- Coordinate processing of Inbound and Outbound Certificate of Insurance processes, systems, and outsourced vendors by issuing or receiving, and analyzing COI's to ensure Hyatt, Hotels, Owners, and vendors are meeting respective insurance compliance requirements.
- Coordinate bond process and outsourced vendor to ensure bond obligations are met timely and accurately.
- Coordinate self-insured workers compensation outsourced vendor and process to ensure filings are completed timely, and accurate.
- Manage Department's Record Retention Responsibility.
- Coordinate Hotel Open/Close/Change (OCC) Process by tracking participation and notifying hotel, owners, vendors, and Risk Management of participation changes.
- Collect, upload and analyze insurance renewal finance, survey, policy and hotel participation data in Risk Management Information System.
- Ensure Insurance Data is complete, and accurate in Risk Management Information System by performing detailed analysis and audits of data.
- Support Annual renewal underwriting process by compiling and analyzing exposure data for all lines of coverage, complete insurance applications for 9 lines of coverage, prepare presentations for underwriters, Audit Committee, Board of Directors, Insurance Committee, etc.
- Support Director and Manger with First Party Claims by assisting with the management ofthe property insurance vendors, tracking claims loss runs, and stop loss aggregate, arrange quarterly claims status meetings, and track all claim expenses, proceeds, and payments to ensure hotels, owners, and Hyatt are paid timely and fairly.
- Provide support to Legal, Sales and Hotels for vendor and sales agreements, policy coverage and COI questions.
- Complete and process TPA billings
- Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt core values.

Qualifications
Experience
- 2+ years of full-time work experience, preferably in risk management.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management or related fields
Computer Skills
- Strong Microsoft products skills required.
- Risk Management Information Systems preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Associates in Risk Management (ARM) preferred.
Additional Requirements
- Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented with an ability to multitask.
