Job Description

Bell Services include working in one of the following positions: Bell Person, Valet and Dispatch. These front-line Cast Members greet our guests demonstrating the Aulani spirit. Bell Services Cast Members will assist arriving and departing guests with transporting luggage to and from guest rooms and Valet Cast Members will assist with parking/retrieving all types of guest vehicles, as needed. During 3rd shift, Cast Members may be required to perform job functions for both roles. They are also responsible for the storage and care of guest property. Works indoors and outdoors in all kinds of weather including extreme temperatures and high humidity

SCHEDULE AVAILABILTY

Our Resort operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 4:00 AM and vary as needed. Part-time requires full availability for any shift a MINIMUM of TWO (2) days per week - Saturday & Sunday. Training may require up to 4 weeks of full availability (day AND evening) and will be required immediately following the start date.

Bell Services

  • Transport guest luggage including but not limited to Rooms/Vehicles/Storage
  • Care and Storage of guest property
  • Deliver items to guest rooms, including newspapers, express check-outs, including but not limited to guest deliveries (i.e. flowers, packages/boxes)
  • Assist Valet Booth/Bell Desk when necessary- including heavy use of phones and basic computer skills
  • Dispatches Bell person and takes calls
  • Greets Guests at the Resort entrance and radio in arrivals
  • Dispatch role manages Bell Services/Valet Cast Members
  • Greet Guests with positive, friendly and helpful attitude
  • Proactively address guest needs by answering questions, giving directions and other information regarding the hotel/resort or surrounding areas

Dispatch

  • Assist Valet Booth/Bell Desk when necessary- including heavy use of phones and basic computer skills
  • Dispatch Bell person and takes calls
  • Greets guests at the resort entrance and radio in arrivals
  • Dispatch role manages the workflow of Bell Services/Valet Cast Members
  • Greet guests with a positive, friendly and helpful attitude
  • Proactively address guest needs by answering questions, giving directions and other information regarding the hotel/resort or surrounding areas

Valet

  • Assist arriving and departing Guests with their vehicles, including but not limited to, driving and parking all types of vehicles (manual transmission driving knowledge required)
