Dc2 1st Shift Technician

We are seeking the following for current openings: Maintenance and Forklift Technicians to work Thursday - Sunday or Saturday through Tuesday. We are looking for a team player with proven retail distribution success to work in a fast-paced distribution center. General Summary: Constructs, installs, repairs, and maintains equipment, machinery, structures, and electrical systems.

Essential Job Functions: • Performs scheduled and preventative maintenance of equipment, machinery, electrical systems, and structures using blue prints, diagrams, manuals, and written instructions while adhering to safety guidelines to ensure equipment is working so that efficient operations are maintained. • Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair malfunctions promptly, including equipment and machinery malfunctions, using blueprints, manuals and written instructions. • Constructs, installs or repairs equipment in accordance with manufactures guidelines and repair manuals. • Assist in the training and instruction of General Maintenance Associates in the maintenance of the building and grounds, ensuring that maintenance is completed in a timely and accurate manner.• Perform general housekeeping duties •

Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent required • Ability to lift 70lbs • Strong electrical, mechanical and mathematical skills • 3-5 years industrial maintenance experience or equivalent • Skilled with welding, milling machines, hand and power tools, and electrical motors.
