A day in the life...
The Learning Specialist Stores on the Learning & Leadership team collaborates with the learning business partner as well as business and HR leadership to ensure the effective implementation of learning programs that support business priorities and objectives. The successful candidate must be comfortable collaborating at all levels of the organization, including end users, subject matter experts and senior corporate leaders. This role requires someone with outstanding facilitation and planning skills, and a commitment to people development.

Lead learning projects within the ADDIE model with a focus on the implementation of learning solutions.
Establish partnerships with HR and business leaders and develop an understanding of the business priorities and learning needs of the business area they support.
Consult with business partners to identify root cause and complete intake of learning requests, as appropriate.
Collaborate with in-house design team to ensure learning design addresses identified root cause and supports business priorities and direction.
Identify and complete program preparation needs including stakeholder communication, learner communication, LMS administration, booking training rooms, etc.
Execute program implementation, including facilitation, virtual ILT, train-the-trainer, e-Learning, support leader-led initiatives, follow-up with stakeholders, LMS administration, etc.
Facilitate programs in a way that engages learners and ensures knowledge transfer.
Support program evaluation including sharing and/or collecting feedback from learners and facilitators.
Use available tools and templates to ensure consistency and timely progress on project milestones.
Effectively prioritize and manage multiple overlapping projects.
Work within project budget, resource and time parameters.
Deliver exemplary internal customer service through strong professionalism and ownership of assigned learning projects
Demonstrate commitment to teamwork through relationship-building and effective collaboration.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
3-5 years adult learning experience
3 years conducting needs analysis and familiarity with the Addie model, Consulting experience a plus
Knowledge of adult learning techniques and methodologies
Demonstrated experience presenting and facilitating learning and group experience, both in-person and virtual.
Experience in Human Resources, change management and Agile project management preferred.
Experience in business area, (e.g., brick-and-mortor Retail, e-Commerce, call center, finance) preferred.
Ability to lead with influence and build strong relationship with peers and leadership.
Strong proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), experience with eLearning authoring software a plus
Clear and effective written and verbal communication, and strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage diverse projects in a fast-paced, dynamic, evolving environment
