Junior Instructional Designer

We are in need of a Learning Solutions Associate to join the Product, Sales & Service Training Team to assist in the creation of product, sales and service training.You will use your breadth of experience to develop, manage and maintain training content for facilitator-led training, computer based training, blended learning, self-study and job aids. You will work collaboratively across departments and first-hand in the stores to assess needs, analyze the best learning methods for service team members and create appropriate training solutions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define learning objectives appropriate to a fast paced retail environment
  • Responsible for the analysis, design, and development of engaging and creative computer based product, sales & service training
  • Analyze content, target audience, job tasks and learner environment to identify appropriate design
  • Apply solid design skills, effective learning principles and creativity to course design to engage participants in solutions needs
  • Collaborate w/ business partners and subject matter experts to analyze, design, develop, implement and evaluate training solutions needs
  • Develop, manage and maintain training content for computer based training, facilitator-led training, blended learning, self-study and job aids
  • Remain current on industry trends and related technology
  • Anticipate and escalate project issues as they develop
  • Conduct Train-the-Trainer sessions as needed
  • Manage content in Cornerstone Learning Management System
  • Other duties/projects as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Experience, Skills and Education:

  • 1-2 years of experience in Learning/Instructional Design
  • Minimum four-year college degree. Advanced degree a plus
  • Experience with Articulate Storyline or 360 is REQUIRED
  • Experience with Adobe Pro Suite, Articulate Storyline, Dreamweaver, Premiere Pro, InDesign and Photoshop preferred
  • Prior experience with Cornerstone Learning Management System a plus
  • Experience with Learning Management System architecture and deployment within corporate learning environments a plus
  • Must be extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Windows, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
