Responsibilities

Management of Parking Logistics

  • Manage parking assets for three primary campus locations in Burbank, Glendale, and Prospect, and at leased facilities as needed
  • Develop, implement, and update policy documents
  • Manage allocation and create strategic plans to optimize utilization in general/reserved parking lots utilizing metrics and current/future logistics
  • Act in consulting role in regard to design aspects of new lots and parking structures
  • Manage hardware associated with parking systems working with DTSS and Security
  • Manage new parking software development and implementation process
  • Manage/design traffic flow, signage, gate access, electric vehicle charging and other traffic requirements

Management of Traffic Flow and Pedestrian Safety Projects

  • Plan and conduct comprehensive field surveys to identify sites for increased parking facility efficiency and safety; conduct parking studies and audits by collecting data in the field or contracting with third-party vendors; run analytical reports to summarize and present current situations and possible solutions to senior management; create presentations for senior management to review
  • Collect information regarding headcount, future construction, move timeline, etc., and prepare maps, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate findings to develop long term plans
  • Develop striping plans and signage strategies to improve safety and traffic flow for various parking facilities
  • Prepare responses to internal suggestions, concerns and complaints; serve as the point-of-contact on all parking inquiries
  • Develop, implement and update policy documents for various properties
  • Track and maintain parking supply and demand; contract parking management services if overflow is anticipated and valet services are required
  • Serve as point of contact with internal synergy partners such as Security, Special Events, operations managers, and project managers to discuss logistics of production shoots, construction projects, or events requiring parking or parking staging; interface with Security, HR, and Risk Management on parking requests and relevant incidents
  • Manage third party parking management/parking audit vendors; hire and schedule parking management contractor as needed; request utilization studies and audits; assist with obtaining costs from subcontractors; review invoices and cost estimates

Manage and Support REO Capital Projects

  • Support and be available to participate in all pertinent REO capital project work
