Responsibilities:

The Collections Manager will be responsible for leading a collections operation of Retained and outsourced collectors, with a portfolio exceeding $215M, comprised of 50,000 Tier 1, complex and large multi-national customer accounts, and 60 Retained and Outsourced collectors.

Responsible for the auditing, analyzing, and monitoring the performance of our outsource partner and ensure their compliance with the appropriate collection policies and procedures. Provides strategic direction and policy, and establishes ongoing training in an effort to protect and reduce credit risk of $1.7B in receivables / assets.

The Collections Manager will also perform special projects and analysis to identify root causes, trends, and problems, and make recommendations to improve processes.

In addition, the Collections Manager will establish relationships and communicate customer issues to senior management of Contract Sales, Customer Service, Tax, etc. They will actively work to maximize cash flow and minimize bad debt write-offs and adjustments, and manage a team of Collectors and the daily operation of complex national accounts. This position has a material impact on the company's cash flow, impacting results by tens of millions of dollars.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A./B.S.) and 7-10 years' experience and/or training.
