Job Description

This Retail Sales Associate position is located at the beautiful Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort on 16th Street. You will work at one of our two Gift Shops helping guests in a number of ways. You will get to make ice cream treats and Starbucks coffee drinks.

This seasonal position will run through Labor Day. You will work anywhere from 10 to 40 hours per week depending on how busy the hotel is. You will need to have full availability to work any shift, and work on weekends and holidays.

This position will run from February - September, Food and Beverage experience is a plus! Must be of legal age to sell alcohol. Come work for a large resort and gain experience in the Retail and Food and Beverage field!

What will I be doing?

As a Gift Shop Clerk, you would be responsible for assisting guests and selling merchandise in a timely, friendly and efficient manner in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Greet and acknowledge guests upon arrival in the shop.
• Demonstrate knowledge of merchandise, styling and pricing.
• Accurately total, process and collect payments from guests to include, but not limited to, using the point-of-sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, making change and processing gift certificates and cards.
• Wrap merchandise and pack orders for shipping.
• Assist in conducting inventory and ensure adequate merchandise supply levels.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
