Job Summary

As part of the Personalization team, the Analyst will be responsible for supporting intiatives to personalize the guest experience across digitial touchpionts within the customer journey. As the individual in this role, you will be responsible for the set-up, testing, and execution of audience segmentation and targeting with the real-time decision engine. Efforts will be focused on driving incremental revenue through enhancing customer engagement and experience.

What will I be doing?

As the Analyst for the Personalization team, you will work closely with the larger CRM group, Analytics, and Marketing teams to implement and execute personalization initiatives across channels, projects and the customer journey.

As the Team Member in this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the day-to-day activities for the execution of personalization projects in order to advance company goals, while also supporting the communication plans of key messages to internal and external stakeholders
  • Championing the Customer-Centric mindset in all discussions around business goals and objectives, acting as a subject matter expert (SME) in the lens of customer-first thinking within the organization
  • Supporting continual analysis and creative solutions for improvement of design, process or technical challenges related to Personalization projects
  • Working knowledge of segmentation and targeting concepts from a marketing and/or data-driven lens
  • Developing strong partnerships with outside vendors, internal constituents, other departments, to support open communication and ensure goals remain aligned
  • Conferring as appropriate with key stakeholders and departments (CRM, Marketing, and cross-functional teams) to ensure objectives are accomplished
  • Executing the directives of the organization's mission, goals and objectives, as well as demonstrating self-motivation, open communication and the ability to work in a group dynamic
  • Implementing and maintaining systems to ensure compliance with Hilton policies
  • Enforcing policies and procedures that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of both the Personalization team and broader Enterprise
  • Affinity for learning about new technologies and solutions in an ever-changing digital and data landscape

What are we looking for?

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

  • BA/BS Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum Years of Experience: two (2) years in a Digital, Marketing or CRM role
  • Understanding of audience segmentation and targeting for marketing communications
  • Presentation and communication skills
  • Analytical skills

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Understanding of IBM Interact or other real-time decision engine technology
  • Understanding of mobile marketing
  • Experience working with Agile technology platforms
  • Digital CMS experience
