The property is looking for someone that has E - Commerce experience

Ideally someone with Revenue Management, Local Sales, and / Or hotel experience.

What will I be doing?

As an E- Commerce Manager for the Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort you will manage and develop hotel's exposure and revenue on brand.com and key websites including but not limited to content, imagery and search engine optimization. Analyze and develop online strategies to maximize profitability potential in conjunction with Hilton Hotels Corporation brand marketing and distribution teams and the hotel revenue management team.

CORE DUTIES:

Work with the Revenue Management team to ensure hotel is maximizing revenue potential on approved partner websites. ecommerce manager to execute all content and imagery changes, develop & maintain strong relationship with 3rd Party Market Managers and attend quarterly meetings & webinars. Partner sites to include but not limited to the following:

  • Expedia.com, Hotels.com, Travelocity.com, Orbitz.com & Affiliate
  • Achieve & maintain 100% content score on all partner sites
  • Review and update room descriptions & website photography

  • Ensure hotels Travel Ads content is updated and seasonal promotions are highlighted

  • Booking.com, Priceline.com & Affiliates
  • Achieve & maintain 100% content score on all partner sites

  • Review and update room descriptions & website photography

  • Ensure hotels Sponsored Listing's content is updated and seasonal promotions are highlighted

  • Review hotel's listing and rates on MetaSearch sites (Trip Advisor, Google's Hotel Finder, Trivago) to ensure content is fresh and up to date
  • Work with DORM & sales team to identify & flag sites promoting out of parity rates

Work with the Revenue Management team to ensure hotel is maximizing potential on group booking engines.

  • Maximize use of Passkey
  • Review and update hotel content, room descriptions & website photography

  • Develop and update website templates by market segment

  • Develop and update Promo Cubes as needed

  • Ensure hotel is maximizing add-on function

  • Develop Passkey Campaign opportunities
  • Attend weekly group pickup and monthly operations meetings to identify upcoming marketing opportunities

  • Ensure 3rd party group booking engines and websites are utilizing proper content and photography
  • Ensure corresponding social media pages feature appropriate content and links

  • For citywide events, ensure hotel has premium placement on booking tool

  • Utilize group reservations calendar and partner with Events & reservations teams to ensure all sites are reviewed as booking window opens

  • Work with group contacts to ensure hotel is marketed appropriately to potential group attendees, beyond group's booking tool / website

Assist Marketing & PR Manager with distribution of promotional and marketing content through digital channels

  • To include both group, transient, food & beverage and ancillary hotel services

  • Review hotel and hotel outlet's placement and listing on all 3rd party booking sites (Ex. Open Table, Google Maps, Google Plus, Yelp)

  • Update PIM on monthly basis to ensure hotel's listing is current and any necessary changes/updates are actioned

Ensure hotel's listing, content, photography is updated and maximized through all GDS channels

  • Identify all marketing & advertising opportunities within all GDS channels (ie. Sabre Spotlight, Amadeus Preference)

SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS:

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.

  • Partner with the Hilton ecommerce Team to enhance hotel content on brand.com, as well as any other websites that could drive traffic brand.com, to include all items listed on online opportunity scorecard. Continue to update content on a regular basis to keep site fresh and innovative. Additional areas of focus include:

  • Ensure compliancy with brand imagery standards

  • Load 3D Tour and/or Video Tour

  • Update revitalized room description content

  • Customize features/highlights section

  • Customize and keep current banner ads

  • Utilize enhanced landing pages

  • Customize wedding portal page

  • Add enhanced descriptions in all applicable areas

  • Enhance dining section

  • Update local guide sections to ensure all local attractions are highlighted

  • Utilize fact sheet and other items in Right Navigation BAR

  • Customize services and amenities page

  • Create & update group & transient value dates

  • Review, identify and adopt best practices from comp set and other like hotels
