Host/Hostess - FireLake Grill House & Cocktail Bar

Position Description

Located on 7th Street in the hub of downtown Minneapolis, this 360 appointed guest room hotel, rated four star/four diamond, with signature FireLake Cocktail Bar and Grill House restaurant, will boast 30,000 square feet of meeting space.

Be a part of our exciting team at FireLake Grill House & Cocktail Bar! As a Host/Hostess, your responsibilities will include:

• Promptly greet arriving guests with a warm, sincere greeting.
• Answer any questions regarding menu items.
• Take and input reservations.
• Answer telephone according to standards.
• Clean tables, chairs and floor area as needed
• Polish silver and folds linens
• Assist service team as necessary to meet and exceed the guests' expectations
• Create 100% guest satisfaction by providing Yes I Can! genuine hospitality and by exceeding guest expectations.
• Give personal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when providing guest service
• Listen, apologize with empathy, find a solution and follows through when resolving guest problems
• Assume the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the

• Perform other duties as required to provide Yes I Can! genuine hospitality
• Previous customer service experience required*
• Flexible availability - able to work mornings, afternoons, weekends and holidays.
