Position Summary

CVS Health recognizes the need to help people hear better. We are passionate about improving our customers' quality of life and recognize how hearing loss is connected to other health conditions. We are currently seeking a Dispensing Audiologist or Hearing Aid Dispenser who is interested in delivering the best quality of care and using the latest hearing exam equipment and technology to provide hearing solutions within the Hearing Center inside CVS Pharmacy stores.

In the Audiologist or Hearing Aid Dispenser role, you will professionally manage the customer process: test and fit hearing impaired customers while managing assigned office(s). You will be responsible for the day-to day operation within the "Hearing Center inside CVS Pharmacy" supported by a Regional Audiology Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct hearing test to determine if customers can be helped by hearing aid(s)
  • Maintain Practice Management System, CMS, and submit medical reports on a regular basis
  • Provide assistance to customers and refer customers for medical diagnoses and treatment when needed
  • Successfully fit prospective customers with appropriate hearing aids based on their hearing loss needs, lifestyle, desires and affordability
  • Provide appropriate follow up care to all customers and deliver upon all service commitments to our customers. Assist customers with the maintenance of their hearing aids; including but not limited to: repair, replacement of batteries, cleanings and adjustments
  • Supervise support staff (in assigned offices) and maintain a clean working environment while following all of CVS Health Policies and Procedures
  • Achieve performance goals, KPI's, and any development opportunities to lead a successful practice within the Hearing Center inside CVS Pharmacy
  • Insurance verification for customers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous dispensing experience preferred

Required Qualifications

  • Dispensing audiology license or hearing aid dispenser's license
  • Strong communication skills and demonstrated compassion and patience with customers
  • Critical-thinking and problem-solving
  • Detailed-oriented with excellent record keeping skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Willingness to learn and use new computer programs/applications
