Position Summary

The database administration is responsible for the performance, integrity and security of the database and EDI. This employee works directly with the account management and clients to develop and design solutions around EDI and new solutions which require database work.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Ensures integrity and security of all data within the 340b space.
  • Manages all aspects of EDI imported and exported from the 340b database. These duties include designing and developing solutions, assure all data is logged and archived, monitoring, solutions are delivered in a timely manner and communicating directly with clients around new implementations and resolving issue
  • Continuously audits and analyzes SQL Server systems to ensure high level of performance and reliability.
  • Develop, automate, and migrate SSIS packages.
  • All aspects of EDI: HL7, X12, NCPDP, Raw data Implement and administer 2014 SQL Server Clustering SQL
  • Development – ability to write and troubleshoot SQL Code and design ( stored procs, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints)
  • Ensure all database servers are backed up in way that meets the business's Recovery Point Objectives (RPO)
  • Install and configure new SQL Servers Ability to detect and troubleshoot SQL Server related CPU,memory,I/O, disk space and other resource contention

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience with SQL scripting required
  • 2+ years of experience with EDI including HL7, X12, NCPDP, Raw data
  • 2+ years of experience with Mirth
