Cash Management Analyst

Overview

This position is responsible for the cash management activities for more than 1,100 retail stores. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing and executing the following activities:

Responsibilities

• Cash management:o Prepare consolidated cash position dailyo Prepare and analyze forecast of cash inflows and outflows dailyo Oversight of cash concentration and sweepo Approve exceptions for ACH and positive pay exceptions for checkso Prepare or release wires daily
• Retail banking: o Open and close depository bank accounts for stores as neededo Resolve discrepancies with stores and depository banks, or facilitate store activities with bank, as neededo Analyze and review monthly bank fees for reasonableness and resolve discrepancies with respective bankso Ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed
• Armored courier: o Establish armored courier service for stores as neededo Resolve discrepancies with stores and armored courier as neededo Analyze and review monthly courier fees for reasonablenesso Ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed
• Bank relations:o Establish and maintain relationships with depository and disbursement bankso Ensure all documentation and compliance with banks is complete and up to date
• Perform ad-hoc projects and analysis as requested by management

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors/ 4 Yr Degree required
• Experience: 3 years in Banking, Accounting and Systems
• Strong analytical skills with an aptitude for problem solving
• Thorough knowledge of accounting and month end close activity
• Strong Excel skills and the ability to learn a new system
• Strong attention to detail
• Very effective communicator with an ability to work with others in a team environment
