SUMMARY:
IMC's Distribution Center Manager will implement warehouse best practices that will meet / exceed established goals for safety, quality, cost, service and culture. Manager directs daily operational activities utilizing a team of warehouse managers, non-exempt leads and non-exempt employees. Position is responsible for driving continuous improvement efforts while communicating distribution activities including budget performance, metrics, status of key projects and efforts to create a culture of a high performing work team
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Recruits and hires according to the needs of the warehouse.
- Educates the Team about IMC Parts and their business areas strategies / plans.
- Clearly defined roles, expectations, performance measurements.
- Maintain an environment that respects diversity and guarantees open communication.
- Provide great training and developmental opportunities.
- Recognizes and acknowledges the contributions of others.
- Monitor performance and hold others accountable for underachievement
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 years Distribution Center Management.
- Strong Leadership & Proven track record of performance.
- Professional & Highly Motivated.
- Relationship Builder & Mentor/Coach.
- SAP Experience a plus.
- Ability to pass pre-employment Background/MVR check
