Telecom Analyst - Senior Consultant Procurement

Position Summary

The Telecom Analyst will assist in the processing, accounting and management of telecom spend across the enterprise. The analyst will also support all internal accounting requirements for telecom expense, enterprise wide. This position interacts primarily with Directors, Project Managers and Functional Managers for internal financial management activity and also with Corporate Finance managers for external financial reporting requirements.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Financial oversight of IT Telecom spend across multiple P&L lines.
• Implement IT accounting procedures, standards and operational controls for Telecom spend, enterprise wide.
• Maintain daily work flow of Telecom expense review and reporting operations.
• Verify and post transactions to journals, general ledger, accounts payable and other records.
• Support IT FP&A teams & Corporate Finance with the annual budgeting process (as it relates to telecom spend).
• Develop and maintain interaction with IT FP&A teams, Vendor Management, Corporate Finance, and other internal personnel.
• Ensure alignment of IT telecom expense forecasts for the PBM & Retail Segments.
• Responsible for the integrity and accuracy of corporate capital reporting as it pertains to IT.
• Assist in ad hoc financial reporting upon request of IT management
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and streamlining as it pertains to telecom expense management.
• Continually identifies and implements new opportunities for cost savings, cost avoidance and proactively tracks progress towards these objectives

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of IT financial operations and systems
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, key stakeholders, and vendors
• Ability to collaborate with and meet the needs of multiple internal stakeholders while effectively interacting and communicating at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities on a simultaneous basis
• Strong technical accounting, analytical and process improvement skills with exposure to telecom expense management
• 3+ years of professional work experience. Experience specifically

coming from Telecom Expense Management strongly preferred.

• Experience in Accounting, Finance & Operations positions, especially in IT telecom specifically
• Excellent technical skills; knowledge of spreadsheet and database software
• Experience working in and supporting an IT technology environment within the Retail and/or Healthcare Industries
• Strong analytical skills and problem solving ability.
• Proven ability to develop analysis and reporting based on IT technology initiatives
• Experience interfacing with Telecom Expense Management Platform: Tangoe Rivermine TEM

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional work experience required. Experience specifically coming from Telecom Expense Management strongly preferred.
• 2+ years of MS Office experience.
