About this job
To provide maintenance support, care of and maintenance of indoor/outdoor Community Center facilities and Recreation Facilities.
• Minor repairs to equipment and facilities.
• Perform landscape and grounds duties at all recreation facilities. (Outdoor Pools, Mini Golf, and the Library.) Includes planning, planting and tending to all flowerbeds in a resort style.
• Set-up, tear-down of meetings/functions, including cleaning to prepare for next event.
• Detail the Community Center daily and frequently, ensuring a guest-ready, visible appearance at all times.
• Handle hazardous pool chemicals using all safety equipment.
• Represent the club in a positive and professional manner.
• Some weekend duties may occur – hours may vary.
• Get along well with others.
• Maintain trash on the weekends at outdoor facilities, Robinhood Park, Library and Mini Golf.
• Perform minor landscape and grounds duties at other recreation facilities. (Outdoor Pools, Mini Golf, RHP and the Library.)
• Assist Recreation Manager as needed with setup/tear down of special events.

MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED.
EXPERIENCE: Janitorial, facilities maintenance, landscaping - all preferred.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Basic computer skills preferred
WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Inside with heavy lifting; outside in extreme temperatures; busy customer environment.
COMMUNICATION REQUIREMENTS: Active listening skills and ability to articulate information both verbally and in writing.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Normal speech, hearing, and vision; lifting of 50 pounds, more with assistance.
