About this job
We are currently hiring an entry level Lab Technician for a Fortune 500 Coatings company in their R&D department. This position is for immediate hire, to be considered candidates must be able to start work within 2 weeks of employment offer (if selected).
Shift: 1st shift, Monday through Friday
Overview:
This person is responsible for supporting production, assisting with formula management, and project work.
This person will be expected to complete tasks with minimum supervision while performing high quality work. This person will be expected to communicate clearly, and keep up-to-date, detailed records.
Main Responsibilities:
- Performs lab experiments and tests
- Analyzes test data
- Work with Chemists to analyze formulations
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology or related science field
- Understanding of lab techniques and procedures
- Ability to work in a collaborative work environment
