New Business Representative

New Business Representative - $13/hr - 10:30am - 7pm

4 month contract-to-hire

***Requirements - a strong customer service mindset, computer skills, and a great attitude and work ethic. No prior insurance or call center experience required.***

This 'New Business' department supports their contact center and provides customer support to Sales Agents of life insurance policies.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- customer service: direct customer contact via inbound customer calls to verify policy information, provide policy updates, etc. (Volume of calls will depend on the business demands).
- reviewing documents on-line for accuracy. searching for the possible inaccuracies within those documents.
- updating documents with missing information: customer information, policy information, etc.
- research is required to confirm previous transactions.
- high volume data entry, working with tight timelines for project completion ("same day work to 3-4 day work projects").
- attention to detail on the work is critical. 100% accuracy standards are expected/required. (this data entry work is dealing with the customer's checking accounts, savings accounts, payments, etc which is why accuracy is so critical).
- review insurance policies, enter information regarding payments owed.
