Company in Piney Flats, TN currently screening for Electronic Repair Technician.

 

The Electronic Repair Technician will repair chargers, troubleshoot customer calls, issue RMA numbers to have customer ship back defective chargers, rework, or replace chargers to the customers.

Position Requirements

         High School Diploma

         Experience or Post-Secondary Education in the Electronics circuit board component level field or has experience with large tube television repair or computer repair.

         Excellent verbal, written and communication skills.

Major Responsibilities

         Understand and have knowledge of circuit boards at the component level to repair returned chargers.

         Testing and repair linear and high frequency chargers and power supplies at the circuit board component level.

         Convert and rework variety of voltage and amperage chargers and power supplies.

         Test and reprogram variety of circuit boards and chargers.

         Maintain quality on all reworked products while documenting all rework hours.

         Troubleshoot with customer calls and/or emails

Specific Functions and Responsibilities

         QC Inspection/Repair of components and boards.

         Learn various calibrations on testing to test all products.

         De-solder and re-solder printed circuit boards.

         Calibrate boards interpret numbers.

         Follow linear and high frequency QC procedures.

         Good written and verbal communication skills.

         Document and keep accurate records and results of all products run through testing using Microsoft Word and creating spreadsheets in Excel.

         Communicate using email internally and externally, as well as navigate the internet for basic on the job related information.

         Be trained on the company s ERP system to access and utilize information.
