Job Description

The Assistant General Manager is the leader in the restaurant focused on providing a restaurant environment that is focused on integrity, honesty, and pride. The role of the Assistant General Manager is to develop people and build prosperity.  The Assistant General Manager builds sales while providing resources, training and development, and utilizers a systematic and principle-centered management approach to maximize restaurant-operating results, in order to fulfill the mission and promise.

Essential Job Functions:

·       Exemplary guest service

·       Have a general understanding of cost controls and operating costs

·       Manage food and labor cost through training and coaching

·       Manage people, products and equipment related to the different aspects of the restaurant to deliver the Donatos mission and promise

·       Ensure product quality meets Donatos standards and guest expectations

·       Properly execute, enforce and manage food safety and sanitation requirements

·       Ensure cash handling procedures are followed

 

Minimum qualifications:

·       Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age*

·       High School Diploma or GED required

·       Complete all internal certification programs

·       Valid Driver’s License required

·       1-2 years of restaurant management experience

·       Strong understanding of P&L interpretation and management to influence profitability

·       Ability to prioritize and organize own and others’ work and time to meet deadlines and objectives
