Billing Rates Analyst - Full-time / Part-time

Utility Rates Analyst

The successful candidate, under direct supervision, will research, review and update current municipality utility rates into the WaterWatch billing application to insure accurate invoicing. Also under direct supervision, the successful candidate will request and receive property utility invoices, and enter charges into the system, for those billing under an allocation methodology. This is a full time position, non-exempt position (M-F 8:30am-5pm)

Position Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Research and maintain municipality utility rates and keep accurate up-to-date records

• Update and maintain WaterWatch billing application utility rates to insure invoice accuracy

• Request and review copies of property municipality utility bills to verify rate structure

• Obtain all required municipality bill amounts for properties with allocation billing

• On a monthly basis, set-up and generate billing invoice for allocation properties as required

• Assist in the WaterWatch new account set-up process by requesting documents

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate will:

• Preferably have experience in an administrator role or billing environment

• Have experience with Microsoft Office Suite, and be comfortable using Excel

• Be detail and numbers oriented

• Ability to work under demanding time constraints with firm deadlines

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required

• Associates degree or greater in Business/Accounting/Communication or relevant field
