Job Description
We are a locally owned family provisions company that has been servicing the greater Boston area for over 30 Years. We are currently looking to add another experienced butcher / meat cutter / team player to our family. We operate out of a USDA plant located in Newmarket Square in Boston.
Requirements for the job:
- Looking for at least 1 Years of prior experience portioning and packaging various meat products (Beef / Lamb / Pork / Chicken / Veal)
- Must be able to lift heavy boxes (upwards of 80-90 lbs)
- DETAIL ORIENTED!!
- Stand on feet for several hours a day (To do cutting)
- Able to work in a cold environment (Refrigerated area all day)
- Able to read english
- Must be able to work 6 Days per week (Monday - Saturday)
- Start time is at 4:45 AM - Whenever We are done (Typically 2-4 PM)
- Might also have to do some other warehouse work (if needed)
- Must be willing to also wash and clean the cutting room at the end of the day
- Must be ORGANIZED and able to work very quickly and accurately
- Have a valid Driver's License
- LOOKING FOR A COMPLETE TEAM PLAYER!!
