Bakery & Cafe - Chef / Cook - Full-time / Part-time

Creative Cakes is looking for talented Line Cooks for full-time positions that possess the following characteristics:

– Well-versed in the art of exceptional customer service

– Experienced in working on fast-paced sandwich/salad line

– Able to follow direction and execute recipes

– Works fast and efficiently; able to handle a large volume of orders

– Ability to delegate tasks and train other associates

– Able to inventory and understands proper holding and rotation of food

– Works well with others and has a cheerful, upbeat attitude

– Loves food and loves to learn!

COMPENSATION: This position is paid an hourly wage ($11 + / hour depending on level of experience) and is eligible for overtime pay with an opportunity for review after 6 months.

HOURS OF OPERATION: Closed Mondays. Tuesday through Saturday 8am-6pm. Sunday 8am-4pm. Occasionally some after hours events. Applicants must be able to work weekends.

REQUIREMENTS:

Illinois Food Handler’s License/Sanitation Certificate

Culinary School Training or Equivalent On the Job Experience
