DécorPlanet.com is currently seeking Decorative Plumbing & Tile Salespeople for our showrooms in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Staten Island
Job description:

If so, then DecorPlanet.com would like you to join our dedicated team of sales professionals. DécorPlanet.com is currently seeking Decorative Plumbing and Tile Salespeople for our showrooms in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Staten Island. Showroom Salespeople provide expert product selection assistance and design advice to showroom customers.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting showroom customers with reliable information regarding product specifications, product suitability, pricing, and availability, assessing their needs, guiding their product selections, and successfully closing the sale
- Entering Sales Orders , arranging shipping, and maintain customer communication to ensure an accurate and timely order processing
- Maintaining product literature files to ensure the most current and accurate information is always provided to our customers
- Meeting or exceeding monthly required sales and profit targets
- Working with customers in determining project needs
- Advising contractors, designers and trade professionals as needed
- Write quotes and orders in a well-organized manner
Requirements:
- 3+ years decorative plumbing sales (bathroom furniture and equipment: vanities, tubs, toilets, medicine cabinets, shower systems. etc)
- Strong knowledge of leading brands (Grohe, Hansgrohe, Duravit, Toto, Kohler, Delta, etc)
- General computer skills and previous experience with web based order entry and processing systems
OR
- 3+ years residential and commercial tile sales
- Strong knowledge of trending tile and stone materials
- Ability to estimate/calculate amount of materials to complete projects

- The ability to maintain positive relationships with team members, vendors, and customers
- Knowledge of kitchen and bath design trends
- Pleasant personality for phone and in-person sales
