Job Description

Quality Oil Company, LLC is now seeking an experienced, dynamic, and customer service focused General Manager for our brand new Hilton Garden Inn located in Downtown Asheville, NC.  Quality Oil Company, LLC is based in Winston-Salem, NC. The ideal candidate will manage the operations of the 140 room property, which also features a restaurant (Pillar Kitchen) and rooftop bar (Pillar Bar), and must have the ability to build an AWARD WINNING TEAM. The hotel is located in Asheville, NC at 309 College Street.

The General Manager is considered the leader of the property and is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, sales, recruiting, and training for the hotel. The GM is the coach and must be able to motivate and inspire the team members to provide outstanding guest services.  The GM is responsible for the overall success of the hotel; for generating profit to meet or exceed budget while focusing on top line revenue goals and cost containments that continually meet or exceed operating standards, and knows the daily operation of each department within the hotel. Establishes and maintains a positive employee climate to meet or exceed guest expectations.

  • Job Requirements: Must have at least 2 years prior hotel management experience, a steady job history, and an AWARD WINNING POSITIVE ATTITUDE!

  • *Hilton General Management Experience is a plus!

  • *F&B Experience is a plus!

  • *Conduct Weekly Staff /Sales Meetings.

  • *Believe in our Service First Program.

  • *Empower, Train, and Motivate your team.

  • *Be able to work in a fast paced environment

  • *Must be a hands-on manager.

  • *Must have excellent time management skills

  • *Must have strong organizational skills.

  • *Must have strong guest service skills.

  • *Computer Skills: Excel, Word, and Outlook a plus

  • *ONQ experience a plus.
