Job Description

Our Del City business in Menomonee Falls, WI is adding a Marketing & e-Commerce Manager to their team.   Reporting to the Division President -Del City, the Marketing & e-Commerce Manager develops & implements critical branding, marketing and e-business strategies for the Del City business unit. Responsible for demand creation through new customer acquisition and retention, this critical leadership role oversees all aspects of marketing execution, and drives continuous improvement of the overall customer experience.  The Marketing & e-Commerce Manager ensures a cohesive and integrated marketing strategy across all customer communication and interaction touch points, both digital and traditional.  

 

With heavy emphasis on digital and e-commerce platforms and partnerships, the ideal candidate will possess a blend of: 

•digital marketing experience with a track record of campaign management and e-commerce success

•a working knowledge of and aptitude for e-business analytics with experience in SEO, SEM, social media, marketing integration, content management, CRM systems and strategies 

•Marketing creative experience in both digital and traditional media 

•exceptional leadership skills to motivate, engage and inspire a talented team and vendor base

•ability to manage budgets, measure results, and continuously improve through a dedication to best practices

 

The Marketing and e-Commerce Manager ensures team collaboration, development and engagement and works closely with Product Management, Pricing, Inside Sales, Customer Satisfaction, Logistics and IT teams to ensure alignment of objectives, executional success and a "world class" customer experience. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

•Responsible for marketing strategy development and implementation

•Owns demand creation, promotional strategy and new customer acquisition targeting large to mid-size strategic B2B customers

•Accountable for delivering revenue & profitability targets for new and existing product initiatives

•New vertical market and new channel growth opportunity identification and execution

•Marketing staff engagement, development and retention

•Vendor partner qualification and management of external Marketing resources

•Marketing budget development, management and cost containment

•Digital content and user experience owner for delcity.net targeting delivery of "best-in-class" e-commerce experience

•Marketing communication including trade shows, print collateral, advertising and PR activities

 

Required Experience:

•5+ years digital marketing and e-commerce experience with demonstrated track record of driving growth and profitability improvement

•Experience with search engine marketing, digital campaigns, interactive marketing, e-commerce merchandising, content management, website design/user interface

•Experience managing marketing integration, CMS, CRM and ERP systems 

•Blend of both B2B and B2C experience preferred

•Bachelor's degree business, marketing, e-commerce or related field required

•Ability to travel up to 20%

 

Required Skills:

•Proficiency in digital marketing and e-commerce analytics a must

•Google analytics certification a plus

•Working knowledge of marketing integration, CMS, CRM and ERP systems required 

•Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate compelling, differentiated brand and product value propositions

•Working knowledge of traditional (non-digital) marketing media, creative/graphic design, campaigns and communication including print, catalog and trade show management

•Prior direct management experience preferred with demonstrated ability to engage, motivate and develop high-performing teams

•Experience marketing across multiple distribution channels a plus; direct and indirect/wholesale/reseller distribution models
