Job Title: Bilingual Sewing Repair Technician- Levell III/ Team Lead
Location: West Allis, WI 35768984
Days/Hours: Mon-Fri - 7:30 am - 4 pm
Pay Range: $14-17/hr. B.O.E.

Job Description:
• Function as Team Leader for timely and efficient completion of all work orders within established time limits and as directed Production Department Manager.

• Assist in management of repair queue and estimates as directed by Production Manager.

• Repair PPE garments according to Manufacturer and company standards

• Demonstrate proficiency on all sewing machines.

• Demonstrate proficiency and efficiency in completing all Basic and Advanced repairs as defined by company standards.

• Demonstrate proficiency and efficiency in completing all alterations, including, but not limited to, such advanced alterations as: increasing jacket chest size, increase pant waist (side seams,) lengthen sleeve up to 4 inches.

• Reference and follow company inspection, repair and alteration procedures.

• Complete work according to company quality standards.

• Record accurate work start and stop times and all work performed on repair diagram forms for each work order completed.

• Create templates, patterns and instructions for use by all level employees to improve productivity.

• Complete special projects as directed.

• Focus on efficiency and productivity.

• Answer phone/door and take messages, in professional manner, as required

• Demonstrate adaptability to new skills and new company procedures.

Knowledge Development:

• Develop working knowledge of Basic and Advanced Repair standards per company standards.

• Build working knowledge and demonstrate familiarity for repair and alteration of manufacturer garments.

• Develop/maintain procedures in the format defined by Management.

• Develop working knowledge of PPE Ledger Tracking Work Order System.

• Recommend and submit written process and quality improvements to management

• Assist in training other personnel, if required.

• Seek help when appropriate

General Responsibilities:

• Answer phone/door and take messages, in a professional manner, as required.

• Demonstrate adaptability to new skills and new company procedures

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years to apply
• Must have 2-4 years Sewing Experience
• Must be Bilingual- Verbal & Written- English , Verbal- Spanish
• Must pass a Drug Screen & Background Check
