Job Description
A publicly traded manufacturing company is seeking a Pricing Analyst to join their team.
Position Overview: The Pricing Analyst is responsible for determining the costs associated with specific projects and will work directly with customers in pricing these projects out.
Responsibilities:
- The Pricing Analyst will directly participate in the cost analysis of various projects across several plants
- Prepare customer quotes
- The Pricing Analyst will utilize budgeting and forecasting techniques to determine the total price associated with specific customer projects
- Act as the point of contact for any cost/pricing related inquiry from customers
- Resolve price discrepancies
- The Pricing Analyst will develop product models for new products
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years in a Financial Analyst/Accounting role with a product costing aspect
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of profitability
- Ability to work in a demanding atmosphere
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong understanding of finance
- Ability to multitask
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting
