Job Description

Overview:

The Merchandising Analyst serves as our resident owner of CPAP.com's core merchandising knowledge and strategy and holds responsibilities including, but not limited to: Product Pricing Analysis, New Product Evaluation, Product Performance Analysis, and Product-Related Warehouse Issues.

The Merchandising Analyst is part of our products team, who act as product knowledge experts for our company. The Merchandising Analyst works as part of the products team during large scale projects to analyze and explore ways to increase and optimize the products offered and featured by CPAP.com.

History and Education Requirements:

  • 2 Years Experience in Merchandising or Product Analysis

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Merchandising Preferred, but Not Required

Areas of Responsibility:

Product Lifecycle Management

  • Manage Manufacturer Relationships

  • Discover and Evaluate New Products

  • Collaborate with Purchasing and Warehouse Teams to Ensure Proper Status of Products in CPAP.com's Systems

  • Train Staff on New Equipment

  • Answer Internal Product Questions

Product Analysis

  • Analyze Product and Product Page Performance to Suggest New, Profitable Changes to Product Pages and Customer Funnel

  • Research and Analyze Consumer Purchasing Trends

  • Analyze and Report on Product-Related Metrics Regularly

Pricing

  • Work with Communications Team to Identify Products for Upcoming Marketing Campaigns

  • Research, Analyze, and Update Product Pricing Based on Competitor Activity

  • Evaluate and Suggest Pricing Strategies to Optimize Product Performance

  • Adjust Product Pricing for Large Scale Sales and Events
