Meat Manager

Must know how to cut meat. 

Manage and supervise up to 8 associates in the Meat Department. Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this department. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with stores policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing and training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; assist in appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Responsible for ordering and receiving product, managing inventory, merchandising, rotating product, organizing back stock, communicating with suppliers and vendors. Maintain freshness and wholesomeness of product. Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of department, equipment and fixtures.
