Position Overview
As the Sr. Director of Digital & E-commerce, you’ll implement an effective customer acquisition strategy that supports business objectives. You’ll lead all online direct distribution channels, expand points of digital distribution, and create a true omni-channel experience. You’ll provide vision and leadership for developing and implementing social commerce, digital, and mobile initiatives across various functional groups to deliver the optimum digital customer experience. MUST BE A B2C SUPERSTAR WHO HAS ACHIEVED TRIPLE DIGIT GROWTH WORKING AT A START-UP WITH $10+ MILLION ANNUAL MARKETING BUDGETS AND HAVE A PROVEN RECORD SELLING VIA SEM, SEO and SOCIAL MEDIA!
Essential Job Functions
- Directs the development and communication of the overall e-commerce strategy.
- Ensures quality implementation of digital strategies across all channels.
- Drives customer acquisition and continue to rapidly grow sales through integrated marketing initiatives including SEO, SEM, email, affinity/affiliate marketing partnerships, and social media.
- Leads innovation to create new customer acquisition capabilities.
- Works closely with the Marketing and Creative Services team to ensure consistency of the brand voice in all digital communications.
- Ensures qualified traffic is being driven to the website through online acquisition programs. Strong understanding of the numerous channels that drive traffic and conversion.
- Leads Digital Marketing Manager and Media Agency to optimize paid and organic search. Campaigns using tools such as Google Analytics, Webmaster Tools, Google AdWords, and etc.
- Sets and achieve ROI goals for digital customer acquisition initiatives. Maximize CPA and lifetime value metrics. Invest to accelerate growth.
- Leads analysis through use of comprehensive eComm analytics.
- Stays abreast with eComm technology, trends and makes appropriate recommendations for the eComm platform to improve the customer acquisition.
- Identifies and prioritize opportunities that will provide revenue growth and margin improvements.
- Ensures an excellent digital customer experience through customer-centric design, content, navigation, architecture, branding, performance and functionality.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in consumer driven business.
- Strategic thinking with experience building best-in-class digital ecommerce capability.
- Proven track record of innovation in all things digital AND selling on Social Media
- Passion for consumers, be current in “all things digital”.
- Understands the nuances and expectations of an omni-channel.
- Subject Matter Expert in eComm and well-versed in digital strategy with a “merchant mindset”.
- Experience contributing to the product innovation and retail strategy via a solid understanding and translation of consumer and market needs and trends.
- Fosters an atmosphere of cooperation and collaboration among other departments.
