Group Leader - Full-time / Part-time

We’re currently looking to fill a couple of group lead positions on our 2nd shift and continuous shifts.  I have one opening on each shift. Pay starts at 18.00 + 20 cent differential for 2nd shift, and 50 cent differential for continuous shift. This position requires a resume and interview in addition to the standard forklift test.

We are looking for candidates with strong prior work history with leadership roles, including supervisors, group leads, and management. Candidates should understand that this is a working lead position so they may be required to perform all primary duties of Distribution Attendants, including picking, wrapping, loading, receiving, bundling at the UPS station, etc., as the need arises.

Primary responsibilities include leading a group of 6 – 8 people, promoting a safe and inviting workplace, maintaining high levels of productivity, tracking an hour by hour board and keeping up with a +QDIP board (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity), tracking and improving their areas 5S scores, and training new associates, among other tasks.

If selected, the applicants will need to work on 1st shift for at least 1 month before joining the shift they have applied for.

Second shift hours are M-F from 1:30 PM to 10 PM, OT as necessary

Continuous shift hours are 6:30 PM – 5 AM on a 10 hour, 4 day a week shift rotation with every other weekend off, OT as necessary

While training on first shift, their hours will be M-F from 7 – 3:30 PM, OT as necessary
