Full Time Medical Department Manager/ Equipment Technician

North Shore Home Medical Supply, Inc- a Peabody based independent Medical Supply company has an immediate opening for a Department Manager and Medical Supply Technician.

Candidate will work directly with the owners to grow our retail medical supply business.

This is a full time entry level management position and requires the candidate be able to work at least 40 hrs/week which may include weekends.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the store's inventory of medical equipment and supplies including unpacking, assembly, cleaning, and repairing equipment as needed
  • Deliver and install various medical equipment in our customer's home
  • Manage the delivery process, scheduling deliveries and coordinating personnel as required.
  • Perform simple home modifications by installing safety products in the customer's home
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues both over the phone and in person at our customer's home when equipment needs to be repaired
  • Work in our retail showroom by helping customers select the proper medical equipment and educating on it's proper use
  • Work with our team to update and maintain the company's website to help market our products
  • Update our internal computer systems to reflect price changes, and update new products in inventory
  • Maintain our retail store including stocking product, and creating displays highlighting new products or initiatives

Required Qualifications:

  • No criminal record of any kind and must possess clean CORI report
  • Valid US drivers License
  • Able and willing to carry bulky and heavy objects (over 50 lbs)
  • Ability to repair, install, and put together various medical equipment- No prior working knowledge required, candidate will be trained on how to work on products)
  • Excellent Customer service skills and understanding that our customer's are always the most important element
  • Knowledge of computer systems, able to use WordPress, Excel, and overall understanding of computer systems
  • Willingness to work weekends and nights as the job requires

Salary: $29,000-$32,000 commiserate on qualifications and experience. Additional bonus structured if department meets growth and sales goals. -
