Retail Merchandise Apprenticeship- Full Time & Internships

Focus currently has 3-5 Retail Merchandise Apprenticeship openings for both Full Time Entry Level & Internship positions. The Retail Merchandise Apprenticeship will help to track and organize event products, displays & samples, ensure product quality assurance, create purchase orders, and support the daily work flow functions and overall merchandise flow within the designated event.

The Retail Merchandise Apprenticeship will work with the Executive Event Manager and training managers to oversee all aspects of our various events on a weekly basis.

The Retail Merchandise Apprenticeship will have a keen eye for detail, and the ability to motivate and inspire our team. They will have a creative sensibility and understanding of current trends. Our Merchandising department is a fast paced, competitive and high energy environment, with team members who strive for success and are looking for like-minded individuals to join the team.

Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining & organizing event products, displays & samples
Correspond with executive management team on event progress
Possess a creative eye and ability to pick out trends
Keep current with industry trends to ensure we are offering & presenting our clients products in an enticing means
Verify product quality assurance
Support staff as needed

Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's Degree preferred
Minimum of 1-year relevant work experience, or related college course work
Strong written and verbal communication
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to travel locally to event locations
