General Manager - Retail Flooring and Installation - Full-time / Part-time

We are seeking a General Manager - Retail Flooring And Installation to join our family business! You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the flooring sales team. Ultimate goal would be to sell the right candidate the successful business he/she has built after a few years.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise activities of the flooring team
• Manage Social Media and Digital Marketing
• Resolve escalated customer complaints
• Schedule installations
• Supervise independent subcontract installers paying them on the day they install
• All duties relating to profit and loss, including accounting work with owner's bookkeeper etc, paying taxes and bills on or before time, providing owner with income and growth of business
• Keep store(s) clean and professional looking
• Expanding the business
• Budgeting, both annually and monthly
• Attend conferences as needed and with owner's consent
• Partake of flooring related courses as needed with owner's consent.

• Previous experience in flooring installation, scheduling, and sales. Has a thorough understanding of all things flooring:
