Liquor Store Manager - Full-time / Part-time

About Us:

We are currently seeking a full-time Store Manager to join our team. You must demonstrate a knowledge of wine/liquor/beer, and have management experience.

Beaver Street Liquor is a dynamic store, offering local favorites and hard to find varietals of wine and liquors. We are looking to expand our team with another person who is friendly, professional, and excited to help customers find the perfect product.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Close and frequent interaction with the GM/Buyer on a day-to-day basis.
• Manage the daily operations of the store, including managing inventory, cash handling, and most importantly delivering exceptional customer service.
• Perform opening and closing functions.
• Resolve customer complaints in accordance with all operational guidelines in a calm and professional fashion.
• Enforce age requirements, checking customer ID’s ; ensure cashiers are at all times properly following the stores age verification procedures.
• Regularly meet with sales people, and merchandisers.
• Assist in product ordering
• Responsible for purchase orders and receiving.
• Analysis of all invoices for cost accuracy and pricing eg. Contact salespeople with certain questions on specific invoices.
• Responsible for stocking of merchandise and maintaining the overall appearance, and cleanliness of the sales floor.
• Maintain inventory storage rooms with an upkeep of organization and cleanliness.
• Regular inventory audits to determine products slated for inventory reductions or returns.
• Provide customers with recommendations, and offer other assistance as needed.
• Perform all other related duties and responsibilities as apparent or as assigned.

Job Requirements :

• MUST possess extensive industry knowledge.
• Previous management experience, and strong management skills.
• Hard working, and self-motivating.
• Positive attitude & easy to get along with.
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you will interact with a variety of people, including fellow employees, customers, and vendors, on a daily basis.
• Exceptional organizing and planning skills.
• Must have flexible availability, including nights and weekends.
