Job Description
Growing food manufacturing company seeks ambitious General Manager to increase the company's efficiencies and profitability. Exceptional candidate must have sights set on, and the proven capabilities of earning the position of Chief Operating Officer.
Summary: General Manager will direct and oversee all areas of the Company including production, inventories, distribution, maintenance, marketing, etc., either by performing the duties or by directing subordinate supervisors and associates. This is a "hands on" position.
Competencies: Strong minded, results oriented leader capable of developing operating excellence, generating strategic business solutions, and developing products that add market share, revenue and profits.
Duties: Manage all day-to-day operations, managers and supervisors; P&L responsibility within the scope of the operations; Ensure all quality assurance, food safety and employee safety procedures are carefully followed; Continually review processes to improve safety, efficiency, productivity, quality and profitability; Oversee all compliance, including OSHA, USDA, FDA, etc.; Review production schedules and staffing for optimum efficiencies and customer needs.

Required Background and Experience: Bachelor's Degree Preferred. 8 Plus Years of Manufacturing Leadership a Must; Experience in a GMP environment
