1st Class Pipe Welders/Fitters - Full-time / Part-time

1st Class Pipe Welders/Fitters Needed

Local fabrication shop has multiple projects scheduled for 2017 and are working 2 shifts. Welders will do a full 6G test that consist of prepping everything (6 or 8 inch carbon steel pipe). Cutting, beveling, tacking, putting on a 45 degree angle vice, starting the test, doing the root pass (hot pass) where they'll fuse the 2 pieces together. No sludge can be let inside the pipe, it needs to be a clean weld. They'll finish off the test by doing a flux core cap.

The fitters interview will consist of sitting down and talking with the manager, he'll give them drawings and have them go over them, prep pipe, and bevel it out.

It's a long term contract opportunity that is need based.

No site specific medical or certs required. PPE required are steel toes, hard hat, and safety glasses. Welding hood, gloves, and leathers when welding.
