Seeking either Apprentice level or certified Low Voltage Electricians!!

SHIFT: Monday - Friday- Day shift

Job Description:

Pre-Wire
- Load all materials on to project site.
- Ensure all supplies are on hand.
- Install low-voltage box at appropriate locations.
- Stage wiring at correct locations.
- Pull wires to appropriate destination, while following appropriate wiring code.
- Install nail plates where needed, according to wiring codes.
- Install low-voltage panels, as required.
- Shrink wrap and dress the wires, as needed.

Trim
- Ensure that all needed supplies have been loaded and are on hand.
- Identify each jack per room.
- Terminate (punch down) cat5, strip coax cables, ensure that ends are fitted.
- Install all blank plates where needed, including WAPs, security key pads, motion sensors, etc.
- Install door contact plugs where needed.
- Install low-voltage panel covers.
- Level out jacks.
- Tone and labels all low-voltage wiring.
- Clean-up work area.

Installation
- Secure work space by laying down blankets, taping and covering appropriate areas.
- Unload product from vehicles without damaging products or homes.
- Follow proper safe-lifting protocols.
- Unbox products and dispose of packaging materials as needed.
- Measure product area to ensure symmetrical placement.
- Cut holes in walls with proper tools, as needed, following appropriate good practices, such as straight and clean cuts, appropriately measured and accurately placed cuts, etc.
- Mount products utilizing stud finders to ensure correct and secure placement.
- Fish wires through wall to appropriate location.
- Connect product wires, ensuring accurate hook-up.
- Clean-up work area.
- Test all products to ensure functionality

FOR SUPERVISOR CALIBER:

Supervisory
- Responsible for ensuring that all products and supplies needed for the project are loaded into service vehicles.
- Assist in walk-throughs of the project
- Supervise and delegate responsibilities to other technicians
- Communicate with General Contractors, project managers, customers, warehouse manager, etc. regarding project goals, scope, deadlines, and issues that may arise.
- Ensure that all project tasks are performed accurately, within low-voltage code, and within expected quality standards.
- Ensure that all technicians follow appropriate safety standards

Qualifications:

Preferred

- ACTIVE LEA or LEB in OREGON * *required for higher pay rate*
