Surgical Technologist - Full Time Days

Surgical Technologist Witham Health Services is looking for a full time Surgical Technologist for the Surgical Services day shift (M-F). This position also requires participation in the on call schedule. Surgical Services provides support for both general surgery and specialty procedures. As a Surgical Technologist, you would work directly in the sterile field and be responsible for providing assistance to the surgeon before, during and after surgery, preparing the surgical suite before and after surgical cases, and assisting in the reordering of supplies and maintaining order and cleanliness in the surgery unit. You may be cross trained to Endoscopy suite in the same capacity and would also perform same duties as a Central Sterile Processing Technician. High school graduate or equivalent and graduate of accredited school for Surgical Technologists. Must have current CPR certification. Surgical Technologist certification required within 90 days of employment. Certified Surgical Technologist experience preferred but will consider a new graduate with appropriate clinical instructor references.
