Mental Health Access Point (MHAP) is the front door to the Hamilton County public mental health system. MHAP's primary mission is to provide a standardized entry to a system of care that ensures that services are available, accessible and of high quality. MHAP staff are available 24/7 to answer calls and connect consumers to appropriate services.   Triage-Administrative Care Coordinator   Duties Include: Administrative Care Coordinator needed to answer MHAP's live line in a courteous and informative manner, conduct telephone screening, initiate initial assessments, schedule appointments, coordinate referral activity as determined by consumer need and service availability. Respond to information seeking /crisis phone calls from consumers/agencies. Utilize appropriate methods for interacting sensitively, effectively and professionally with persons from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, educational, racial, ethnic and professional background, and persons of all ages and lifestyle preferences. Coordinate clerical duties. Input data into mental health database.   Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma, 5 years of experience in office work, computer skills, Microsoft Word Skills, typing, filing, basic office skills, strong written documentation and exemplary customer service skills, and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree, preferably in a mental health related field. A working knowledge of Hamilton County public mental health system and other community resources. Experience working with the mentally ill population.
