PRN Psychiatric Registered Nurse - Part-time

We are currently looking for a qualified PRN Psychiatric Registered Nurses to join our team in Tucson! GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:             Registered Nurse performs tasks in providing comprehensive, intensive, on-site clinical crisis services to Cenpatico behavioral health members in the Extended Care Unit (ECU). The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for planning, organizing and directing patient care during the time a patient is in an ECU. The RN facilitates recovery by interviewing, screening, and assessing risk factors for mental illness and broader wellness evaluations. Ensure individuals are safe, healthy, and staying in a clean environment while in the 16-bed, inpatient facility, and will be responsible for encountering services within the Electronic Health Record Skills/ Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:   A Bachelor's degree in Nursing, and at least (1) year experience providing outpatient services to an adult population with chronic mental illness. OR, and Associates degree in Nursing and at least three (3) years' experience providing outpatient services to an adult population with chronic mental illness. Current, active, unrestricted license in the state of AZ as a Registered Nurse (RN).  The preferred candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills.   Must be able to work night and weekends. Must have or can obtain a fingerprint clearance certification. Current negative TB test result or physician certification and documentation of TB clearance.
