COOK - Full-time

Full-time Opening Northfield Mount Hermon seeks an energetic individual to assist in meal preparation for the NMH community and customers. This position is responsible for the preparation, service and presentation of all meals according to established policies and procedures relating to: food quality, service, portion control and sanitation. The successful applicant will have a high school diploma or more and 3-5 years of previous food preparation experience in an institutional/restaurant environment. ServSafe Food Safety Certification is required. Additional qualifications include outstanding organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team, as well as being a self-starter capable of working independently. Love of food and cooking is also a plus! NMH dining services staff work closely with our students, the ability to work effectively with and instruct adolescents in the preparation and service of meals is essential.
