About this job
Responsible for evaluating the palliative care needs of terminally ill patients and coordinating their care with the care team and referring physician. Educating patients, family members and/or caregivers regarding palliative care issues. Nurse practices within the legal scope of practice as defined by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current licensure to practice in the state of Louisiana. BSN preferred. Board Certified in speciality preferred.
Current American Heart BLS
required. Previous nursing experience in an appropriate healthcare seeting.
